Preparations For Easter Fair

By Paul, 12/04/2017 2:52 pm

We have begun all the moving about and re-organizing we need to do to make room for the Crafters and other stalls for this coming weekends Easter Fair. This year we have overflow hard standing for extra parking and the weather forecast looks good for the weekend (if You will be able to warm up with a nice hot beverage and a slice of pizza.  Sadly, due to illness, we won’t have the mobile forge working this year but we will have their Victorian Sock Knitting Machine working away making some seriously good quality socks! We try to post more about individual crafters over the next couple of days if we get time.

Hanging Baskets Made to Order

By Paul, 25/04/2013 10:16 am

We are making up customer orders for colourful summer baskets, pots and wall planters. This year we have an even greater selection of basket plants to chose from in almost any colour combination you can think of.

Award winning Baskets supplied by Cove Garden Nursery

We can advise on planting for a particular aspect for example full sun or shade. We can make the baskets up and look after them for a few weeks until they have rooted in & the danger of frosts have past by the end of May. Then you can hang them up and (providing you care for them well) impress everyone with your beautiful colourful displays.

Fantastic Baskets cared for by Seddons of Dulverton

If you prefer to make up your own baskets them our wide selection of Tub & Basket plants are available now!

Sun Shines on Easter Arts & Crafts Market

By Paul, 02/04/2013 9:35 pm

Our Easter Sunday Arts & Crafts Market went off without a hitch, even the weather improved for the day and there was plenty of sunshine on offer, even if it was a little chilly. The atmosphere was great with Musicians from Whirligig playing through the day and Pitmans Farm providing hot food in the form of a delicious Hog Roast. This was our third Easter Market and with a little help from the weather and a lot of help from the stallholders I think this was our best Easter Market Yet! Many thanks once again to all.
