Sun Shines on Easter Arts & Crafts Market

By Paul, 02/04/2013 9:35 pm

Our Easter Sunday Arts & Crafts Market went off without a hitch, even the weather improved for the day and there was plenty of sunshine on offer, even if it was a little chilly. The atmosphere was great with Musicians from Whirligig playing through the day and Pitmans Farm providing hot food in the form of a delicious Hog Roast. This was our third Easter Market and with a little help from the weather and a lot of help from the stallholders I think this was our best Easter Market Yet! Many thanks once again to all.

Cove at Mid Devon Show at Hartnoll Farm, Tiverton on 24th July

By Helen, 22/07/2010 8:09 am

Yes we are having a stand in the Plants and Garden Marquee and the theme is Grassland and Meadows so we have interpreted it as  Magic Meadow!  We will be sharing with Wicked Willows and have combined our efforts to bring all our creative skills into one place.  Joolz from Wicked Willows has made a beautiful willow peacock and I have made the ‘eye’ of the feathers out of glass and I have to say it looks stunning, no photos to show yet, you’ll have to come and see it!  As well as that Woody from Wicked Willows will be with me on the day working on a willow hare and showing us his weaving skills.  I haven’t yet mentioned the plants,  Paul has been working hard on putting together a display that best reflects the theme and has chosen a selection of grasses, hostas, penstemon, heucheras amongst others, a little taster in the accompanying photo.  So if you are coming to the Mid Devon Show come and say hello, mention the blog and you will receive a voucher for 10% discount off plants at Cove Garden Nursery!   Hope to see you can’t wait!
