Last Christmas tree sold this morning, but orders being taken for 2013! For anyone stuck for last minute presents we have National Garden Gift Vouchers, or for seasonal indoor display, Hyacinths, Paperwhites and Cyclamen. We have a range of Camellias looking good and nicely budded which would make great presents for the gardener or for the kitchen garden a selection of soft fruit favourites. Unique hand made gift stained and fused glass by Helen Fonnereau is also available. We will be closed early afternoon on Christmas Eve till 2nd December. May we also take this opportunity to wish all our supporters a Very Merry Christmas!

We have taken delivery of the first Christmas trees of the festive season on the day that we celebrated 3 years since our arrival at Cove Garden Nursery. As with previous years the quality is extremely high. There are sizes from 4ft up to 12ft on this first delivey and we have both Nordman non-drop and traditional Norway Spruce. We can even arange for it to be delievred locally if you are unable fit it in your car. All thats left now is to come along and choose your tree and get the decorations down from the loft.
We will be holding our Festive Fair on Sunday 9th December 2012. Its a great time to shop for some hand made presents and pick up your freshly cut Christmas Tree at the same time. We will also be serving Mulled Wine and Mince Pies to warm you up! Some pitches are still available so send us an email for details…
Its our Festive Market this Sunday 11th 10 till 4. Joolz of Wicked Willows will be here from 11.00 for kids crafts workshops where they can make amongst others a willow Christmas Tree! Some of the stall holders include jewellery, ceramics, vintage soft furnishings, hand made toys, photography, cupcakes and more… plus mulled wine and mince pies!
Cove Garden Nursery will be hosting a Festive Craft Market on Sunday 11th Dec 10 till 4. Joolz of Wicked Willows will be holding Kids Craft Workshops, we will be serving mulled wine and minced pies and there will be some beautiful individual crafts for any last minute shopping! Our Christmas trees start arriving in the next few days so you can pick up your tree while you are here! There is still space for crafters so get in touch if you would like a pitch.
Believe it or not we are open and we still have a few Christmas Trees left under this pile of snow!
The snow is laying crisp and deep and even and does look very beautiful even though it may put you off going outside! Paul is out there (while I blog in the warm!) trying to make the car park accesable!
The A396 is passable and there is traffic occasionally trundling past but very slowly…
At least George is prepared with his stocking but I think he will be disappointed to find snow in it rather than presents!
